NATURE ART EXHIBIT: BIRDS OF OREGON (BY APPOINTMENT)

NATURE ART EXHIBIT: BIRDS OF OREGON (BY APPOINTMENT)

  • Eco Hub @ Willamette Heritage Center (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

View the birds of Oregon through the eyes of Willamette Valley resident, avid birder, and talented painter, Jon Janosik. Inspired directly by nature, Janosik masterfully blends his portraits of birds and their natural landscapes. Janosik’s work has been exhibited in museums and galleries worldwide, including Japan’s Moji Art Gallery, Kobe Museum and Kirritappu Wetland Center, the British Museum in London, the Smithsonian, and the Carnegie Museum. Janosik treasures the accessibility to “wildness” in Oregon, noting that there is enough subject matter in Oregon to keep him painting for many lifetimes.

This exhibit is open by appointment through Thursday, November 29.

Contact Catherine Alexander at 503-302-4645 or at ExecutiveDirector@StraubCenter.org to arrange a time to view the exhibition.
