CALL FOR YOUNG ARTISTS: WILLAMETTE VALLEY WILDLIFE EXHIBIT
Deadline for art submissions: Saturday, November 3
All K-12 students in public, private, charter or homeschool are invited to submit one work of nature-themed art for a youth exhibition in our Eco Hub gallery at the Willamette Heritage Center.
Guidelines:
Artwork should depict a native animal (a mammal, bird, fish, insect, or other wild critter) that lives in the Willamette Valley.
Artwork can also portray a landscape in the Willamette Valley that shows where native animals live.
All art should be on paper, measure 8.5 x 11 inches, and be suitable to mount on a wall (sorry, no 3-D work or art on canvas).
Art will be mounted on foamcore for the exhibition and will be returned to each student after the exhibition end date.
This exhibit is open to the first 50 students who submit work; there is no fee to enter.
Submissions can be dropped off Friday, November 2, from 3:00-6:00 pm and on Saturday, November 3, from 12:00-5:00 pm or by appointment.
For more information, or to make a drop-off appointment, call Catherine Alexander at 503-302-4645 or email ExecutiveDirector@StraubCenter.org.
