ART EXHIBITION: “FENDER HAS THE BLUES” NORTHWEST ANIMAL PAINTINGS BY ERIC TAUTKUS

  • Eco Hub at Willamette Heritage Center 1313 Mill Street Southeast Salem, OR, 97301 United States (map)

In partnership with the Straub Environmental Center, the David Douglas Society will present a solo exhibition of new work by Salem-based artist Eric Tautkus at the Eco Hub. The opening reception will coincide with Art After Dark on January 11, which is an open studio event organized by the Art Studios at Mission Mill.

Eric Tautkus’s show will focus on Pacific Northwest animals, birds and insects, including the endangered Fender’s blue butterfly. His color pallet is lively and is inspired by graffiti, skateboarding, and hip-hop culture.
