Join Aislinn Adams of the Willamette Valley chapter of the Native Plant Society of Oregon on a family-friendly walk in search of calypso orchids (Calypso bulbosa) and other early-blooming wildflowers on the Howard Creek trail at Silver Falls State Park. Bring water and lunch and appropriate footwear and clothing for an early spring flower walk. This is a rain-or-shine event. Registration required. Wildflower Walks are offered on the second Saturdays of each month April – October.
Location: Meet in the parking lot at the Willamette Heritage Center, 1313 Mill Street SE, Salem at 9:00 am. We will carpool to the park from there.
Cost: $5 suggested donation.
