Out-of-school days are perfect for nearby science adventures! Whether it's rain or shine, our educators know how to make the most of a day trip. The cost includes admission fees, transportation, two healthy snacks, and all materials and supplies for make-and-take activities. (Participants should bring a sack lunch and water bottle.) Drop-off is 8:30-9:00 am and pick-up is 4:30-5:00 pm at the Willamette Heritage Center (1313 Mill Street SE, Salem, Oregon).
On Friday, November 10, our field trip theme is "Asteroids & Aliens!" We'll visit the Eugene Science Center for a kid-friendly planetarium show about the search for life on other planets with plenty of time to explore the interactive exhibits.
Cost: $89 per child
