Autumn is a fantastic season to get outside in nature as the seasons change. It's also a great time to explore some fun STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) concepts through hands-on activities and learn about the world around us.

Our Science Club program for children ages 5-11 takes place after school in our classrooms at the Willamette Heritage Center in Salem, at nearby natural areas (weather permitting), and at selected recreation facilities. This program offers maximum flexibility: sign up for specific dates or days of the week in advance or purchase a package and choose the dates as needed with 72 hours advance notice.

All Science Club sessions during our Autumn Academy (October and November) include a healthy snack, recreation time, "spooky science" activities, and homework help. School pick-up, math tutoring, and dinner are also available upon request for an additional charge.
