School’s out, now let's go outside and learn!

Our week-long summer day camps provide kids entering Grades 1-7 with opportunities to experience fun, science-based activities in a supportive outdoor environment. Camps are led by college-educated field educators and have a teacher-student ratio of 1:7. Campers learn about Oregon's insects, wildlife, forests, rivers, wetlands, geology, engineering, art, and cultural history during visits to state parks and other natural areas.

Visit our summer camp page for more information!

Please note: 2021 summer camps are pending guidance from the Oregon Health Authority. To place your child on our reservation list, download and complete an application form and email it to Info@StraubOutdoors.org. Once we’ve received guidance from the OHA, camp spaces will be offered to children on our reservation list first.
