Designed for ages 7-13, this guided day trip blends discovery, learning and outdoor fun! Explore native riverside habitats with Straub Environmental Center educators. Hear stories of the people who helped shape life in the Willamette Valley. Catch and release aquatic insects, study cottonwood trees, and create art that celebrates the beauty of this landscape. This is a rain-or-shine event; bring a raincoat and waterproof shoes. Bring a sack lunch. Eco Explorers weekend field trips are offered on the first Saturdays of each month April – October.

Cost: $25/child (includes a nature journal and field bag).
